Safety requirements may cover physical, mechanical, flammability and chemical hazards. For relevant flexible materials, phthalate restrictions under Health Ministry Resolution 583/2008 and supplementary provisions must also be considered.
The framework addresses testing by product family, sworn declarations of conformity (DJC), mandatory conformity marking and supporting documentation under Resolution 237/2024 and DNRT Provision 1/2024.
