Argentina's temporary import regime for industrial processing allows eligible inputs to be imported for manufacturing, processing or repair followed by export, subject to applicable conditions and deadlines. A CTIT establishes the relationship between imported inputs and the exported product.

Under the updated Article 15 of Decree 1330/2004, a technical opinion may be filed with the CTIT application or, under the applicable procedure, within 360 calendar days after issuance. Missing the deadline may lead to cancellation and penalties. The proper sequence must be assessed case by case.
